Melbourne Spring Fashion Week was an exciting one for habbot. We hosted a three-part 'Conversations in Colour' series, exhibited at the Creative Collective and partnered with Megan Park at the Designer Resort runway.

Here's a snapshot of what went down ...

Clea Garrick kicked off our in-store conversation series with a rainbow love admission - which would come as no surprise to most Limedrop devotees. Her latest adventure in the form of her new Limedrop nail polish range has been a long time coming with each shade named after an Aussie cultural icon such as VB green.

We found out that both Marsha Golemac and David Flack like to stir things up in their work and David insists on including a little bit of ‘wrong’ in every one of his projects. We heard about the brown phase he finds himself going through at the moment, and Marsha’s love of all things white goes far beyond paper. Expect the unexpected in everything they do.

We’ve put Renee Brown's quick decision making ability down to someone who knows what she wants when it comes to colour at Jardan. She breezed through our colour-psych test to reveal a colour visionary with her feet firmly planted on the ground when her final response associated ‘royal blue’ with ‘power-rangers’. Clearly a wonder-mum.

Creative Victoria in conjunction with Moth design and Virginia Dowzer created a fantastic exhibition in the gallery at thousand pound bend. habbot shoes and shoe lasts literally climbed the walls amongst the work of a selection of wonderful Melbourne independent designers.

The week finished off with an appearance at the Designer Resort runway where we provided footwear for Megan Park resort collection. It’s the third time we’ve supported Megan and luck had nothing to do with the fact that it came together beautifully. Two Melbourne designers focused on detail, quality and colour … how could it go wrong.
Thanks to all habbot staff and the project agency for their hard work on each of these events and to norda water for keeping us hydrated in style!
