The arrival of our new SS25 Collection is just around the corner and we know anticipation is high - so we thought we’d share a peek behind the curtain at what's coming!
These photos are from Annie’s trip to Italy earlier this year, where she spent time at our Le Marche factory checking in on new season samples. You’ll spot early prototypes, shoes in mid-production, and a few styles that are almost complete.
One of the first things Annie does upon arriving at the factory is review the prototypes made ahead of her visit. This is really when the designs she’s worked on and sent over from Melbourne start to take shape.
You might be wondering, “Does every shoe get a prototype?” - but only styles built on a brand new pattern or last go through this process, which makes the reveal all the more exciting.
After they’re fit tested by our maker Marco and his wonderful team, they're adjusted and refined as needed. The prototypes are then sent back to Melbourne for our local habbot staff to try on and test for size, fit and additional feedback. The final step in this process is when Annie gives word that she's happy with each new style and is ready for production to commence. It’s the beginning of a long journey for each shoe, but these crucial collaborative steps and attention to detail are what we pride ourselves on.
This trip saw a particularly strong batch of new styles - in the mix for SS25 is the return of some previous favourites (in fresh, vibrant colourways you'll love!) and some altogether new and unique silhouettes. There are some versatile trans-seasonal styles to carry you from short, wintery July days into long summer nights, plus some head-turning party shoes that we're just raring for you to gush over.
We’re now only weeks away from launching the first drop of SS25 shoes in late July. Here’s a closer look at some of the designs coming your way this season...
