The best way to soften leather flats is to wear them in gently. We would never suggest a first outing where you plan to be out all day on your feet. Despite their high quality, some leathers take longer to "open up" and adjust to your foot shape (particularly patent, high shine and metallics). If worn in shorter increments initially, 3 to 4 hours sessions, they will adjust and wear-in accordingly. The structure of habbot flats is such that the shoe leather will open up and soften to create a more comfortable fit across the width of the foot but the length will never change. Thus, while the flats will comfortably mould to the feet, they will never lose their integrity
