habbot on the Royal Botanic Runway

We’re thrilled to announce that shoes from our AW14 collection will be complimenting Martin Grant's stunning designs on the Royal Botanic Runway event at Melbourne’s botanical gardens on Jan 30th.
Martin has been based in Paris for 20 years but still considers himself very much at home in Australia (and who'd blame him) – and the fact that he recently designed the new Qantas uniforms just proves it!

As part of the special Botanic event he will be showing alongside Australian fashion royalty namely; Colette Dinnigan, Akira Isogawa and Aurelio Costarella. So it’s fair to say, I’m considering myself very fortunate indeed to be one of the four shoe brands asked to participate.

The event is a fundraiser for the final stage of Gardens' water strategy project which will create a sustainable water supply for the gardens that is independent of Melbourne mains water. I’ve got a feeling that the event will attract interest far and wide from both botanical lovers and fashion-y folk alike. I think its fair to say that Melbourne loves her Gardens as much as she loves her frocks.

Tickets to attend the show range from $28 - $1000 and it will also be broadcast on the big screen in Federation Square! habbot on the big tele. Melbourne how I love you.

Much more info and beautiful imagery surrounding the event can be found via broadsheet here, here, here and here or visit the event website www.royalbotanicrunway.com
