Our conversations in colour for MSFW 2015

As part of the MSFW: CURATED program I will be hosting a series of conversations with the central theme ‘colour’ and hope that you can come along!
I'm truly excited and feel fortunate to be speaking with four incredible Melbourne based creative professionals who explore and celebrate colour within the interiors, still life, design, fashion and beauty industries.
These insightful (and free!) Q&A sessions will be held at our store at The Strand Melbourne. 250 Elizabeth Street or via the Emporium.
Click here to reserve your seat or read on for more details. (Limited to 25 people per session).

Session 1: Clea Garrick, Limedrop - Monday 31st August, 6 – 7pm

Designer, Clea Garrick launched Limedrop in 2006 when she moved to Melbourne upon completing Bachelor of Fashion Design at the Queensland University of Technology. Based on the concept of travel the label captures the essence of freedom, discovery, independence and modernity of Australian fashion.

Session 2: Marsha Golemac & David Flack, Flack Studio - Tuesday 1st September, 6:30 – 7:30pm

Marsha Golemac is a Melbourne based creative consultant whose work is undeniably arresting, and yet politely restrained. Less is most definitely more in her instinctive approach to Styling, Art Direction and Design, reflecting an aesthetic that has become immediately recognisable for its consistent reference to line, shape and colour. Working across print, digital and real world installations Marsha’s work is unified by her desire to create impactful scenes and captivating imagery.

Less than a year ago, David Flack established his own interior architecture and design studio, Flack Studio, armed with experience and skill acquired working in collaborative environments at some of Melbourne’s top design practices. Since then, David’s designs have garnered industry attention and caught the critical eye of peers he admires.

Session 3: Renee Brown, Jardan - Wednesday 2nd September, 12:30 - 1:30pm

Renee oversees all creative aspects of Jardan, including styling of the stores, overseeing the buying of homewares, designing the new bedding range, choosing all the fabric for each furniture piece, putting stories together and working with the design team on new products. On top of all this Renee also collaborates with local artists and coming up with concepts for any design shows Jardan stages.

Between 2001-2009 Renee worked as a stylist for KHManagement and has also previously set the creative direction for many MSFW shows, as well as a personal stylist for many actors and celebrities. She has also been heavily involved with big advertising campaigns for the likes of Country Road, Bonds and Guess just to name a few.

We hope to see you there at one if not all three sessions! Make sure to reserve you spot as numbers are limited to 25. Click here to book.
